ABOUT ME
Andrew Smith

Metal detectorist and Thames mudlarker.

It was during a trip down to London that I first discovered mudlarking on the River Thames and I soon had first and still my best find so far with a Henry VI gold quarter noble dating from 1422-27. In between trips down to London I started to go out metal detecting on the fields of Lancashire and Yorkshire and I've had quite a few nice finds including a hoard of six Edward 1st pennies dating from 1279-1282. The Torquay bit by the way is that I'm a big supporter of Torquay United.
